* <stars n=0 /> Je l'ai fait venir des USA sous le nom de Windows Box Yellow avec origine inconnue et l'ai introduite malencontreusement dans l'encyclopédie Semeur. Or elle ressemble comme une soeur jumelle à la variété Balcony Yellow dont la descriprion correspond en tout point et qui a pour origine l'Italie.

Pour les échanges je favoriserait plutôt La Balcony Yellow qui est sans doute à l'origine et oublierais

* <stars n=0 /> Cette variété a été développée par un laboratoire de la ville d'OreNbourg, capitale de l'oblast du même nom et a été nommée ainsi en l'honneur de la ville. Elle y est toujours cultivée.
OreMbourg n'existe pas ni comme lieu ni comme nom de quoique ce soit. Il s'agit donc d'une faute d'orthographe faite systématiquement dans les encyclopédies françaises (Semeur, Ventmarin, Tomatofifou etc..) . Les américains et les allemands par exemple n'ont pas "estropié" le nom de cette variété

Cette variété n'a qu'un seul nom soit "Gezahnte Bührer-Keel"

La description de la variété donnée dans le registre des variétés indique que les fruits de la tomate gourmet sont arrondis, denses, qu'ils pèsent entre 80 et 110 g. La chair dite noire est formée d'une pulpe vert foncé recouverte d'une peau rouge vif. Les chambres à graines sont grandes, il y en a 4-6. Les graines sont grosses, faciles à séparer du jus. Productivité au mètre carré d'environ 5 kg. La peau de cette tomate est fine, résistante aux gerçures. La fructification est très longue.

Les fruits sont lisses et ronds, certains jardiniers en produisent entre 200 et 300 g, mais le poids habituel de cette tomate est de 80 à 110 g. Les tomates non mûres ont une tache vert foncé près de la tige, qui brunit à maturité. Le fruit entier devient rouge foncé, de la grenade au chocolat.

Cette variété, juteuse, au goût excellent, un arôme fruité.
